Acceptance Deadlines

Chamber Works

  • March 20: Submit Chamber Materials Score and Sample Part for Review. Submit your materials on Acceptd. Note: submission portal for chamber materials will be opened on or before March 1. Pieces may not exceed 8 minutes in performance duration.

  • April 1: Final PDFs Due for Chamber Score and All Parts. IMPORTANT: PDFs are for performers to practice before they arrive at the festival. You will need to bring physical scores and parts with you to the festival; we will not be printing physical parts for you. We recommend that you bring 3 scores with you to the festival: one for the conductor (if a conductor is needed) and two for you and your colleagues to look at during rehearsals.

Orchestral Reading Works

  • April 1: Submit Orchestral Materials Score and Sample Part for Review. Note: submission portal for orchestral materials will be opened on or before March 21. Submit your materials on Acceptd. Pieces may not exceed 8 minutes in performance duration.

  • April 8: Final PDFs Due for Orchestral Score and All Parts. You will need to bring physical parts with you to the festival, but we require you to submit PDFs beforehand; we will not be printing physical scores or parts for you. We recommend that you bring 4 scores: one for the conductor, one for review with the composition faculty during the readings, and two for your colleagues to look at during the readings.
